Annihilation Time "Tales of the Ancient Age"

Annihilation Time are an incendiary mix of ‘70s rock and ‘80s hardcore, with riffs personified by their legendary bar brawls and bloody-faced performances. Then again, constant touring with Municipal Waste and Caustic Christ - during their murky beginnings - can have that effect.

Tales of the Ancient Age further bridges the gap between the band’s wildly comparative influences, ranging from BL’AST! to Thin Lizzy. Their third full-length from 2008 is a ten-track mind riot laced with neck-breaking rhythms, obscene twin guitar leads and angst-driven vocals. Tee Pee Records is proud to announce a limited edition pressing of this classic on marbled Tiger’s Eye vinyl available May 9th.

Annihilation Time performances have taken a backseat to other projects lately, with guitarist Graham Clise’s Stepmother working on their second LP and touring the US for the first time. However, the band is always willing to reform for special occasions like the Dave Sweetapple benefit in Pittsburgh PA at the Shred Shed this April 9th.
